Iʼm very pleased to start teaching at goodyoga after completing my advanced studies teaching training with Flannery, here at goodyoga. I began studying yoga six years ago in various studios throughout NY. Then, in the intimate classes at this studio, where I received more specific alignment direction, I began to deepen my practice and focus on small details that made a big difference in my personal practice and in my body. The classes that I teach are rooted in an alignment-based Hatha style but incorporate elements of Vinyasa flow. I teach classes with a slow breath count but strongly encourage students to move at the pace most helpful to their own bodies.

While this is my first year teaching yoga on a regular basis I have taught movement to acting students for several years. Throughout that time I have incorporated meditation into my classes. It is more recent that I myself have developed a consistent daily mediation practice, and in recognizing the benefits for myself, I invite students to use the challenges of yoga to go inward and find calmness.
