February. The coldest month of the year. Our shoulders are huddled up to our ears to protect our neck’s from the wind. Our throats are as dry and scratchy as the skin on our hands and lips. The last thing we feel like doing is opening our hearts and then…Valentine’s Day.
Don’t fret goodyoga will warm you up.
Our teachers are conspiring to melt your frozen core and plant a little springtime crocus at the center of your ribcage. We’re incorporating hotstones and fragrant floral oils into all of our savasanas, to trick your brain to blossom early amid the frost. Our pose of the month, Upward Facing Dog, will expand your breath to get the frost out of your lungs. Cynthia’s Group Yoga practice on February 11th will segue into a DJ set from her alter ego, Cynthesizer, so you can shake the icicles off your booty in the company of friends, old and new. Blessed with the transcendant presence of multi instrumentalist Elizabeth Sullivan, Flan’s Saturday night classes will give you chills…the good kind.
